TB3 Log / Shopify App
TB3 Log for Shopify
Last updated: October 2026
TB3 Log for Shopify is the app from TB3 LOG CORP ("TB3 Log", "we", "us") that connects your Shopify store to our fulfillment center in Miami. This page explains what the app does, how to install it, what it can access, how your data is handled and how to get help.
What the app does
The app is the connection between your store and our fulfillment operation. It brings the orders that TB3 Log fulfills for you to our team, with the items and delivery details needed to ship them, and sends the carrier and tracking number of each shipment back to your store. The logistics services themselves are provided under your service agreement with TB3 Log.
Who can use it
The app is only for TB3 Log clients, meaning businesses with a service agreement with TB3 Log. The agreement sets the services, the fees and the times for processing and shipping your orders.
Use of the app is governed by our App Terms, together with your service agreement and our Terms of Service. Not a client yet? Write to commercial@tb3log.com or request a quote.
How to install
For now, TB3 Log sends each client a private install link. The installation starts in Shopify and asks you to approve the app's permissions.
1. Send us your store address. We need your store's address ending in .myshopify.com to create your link. You'll find it in your Shopify admin under Settings > Domains.
2. Open the link while logged in to Shopify. Use the store owner's account, or a staff account with permission to install apps ("Manage and install apps and channels").
3. Review and approve the permissions. Shopify shows the app and the access it asks for, explained below. If everything looks right, confirm the installation.
4. Let us know. TB3 Log then appears in your list of apps (Settings > Apps). Tell us it's installed so we can check that your orders are coming through.
If Shopify doesn't let you finish, for example because you're logged in to a different store, contact us with your store's .myshopify.com address.
Good to know: the installation always starts in Shopify, and you never need to share your Shopify password, verification codes or API keys with TB3 Log. If you're not sure a link came from us, check with support@tb3log.com before opening it.
What happens after you install
- Orders reach us through the app. When a customer places an order that TB3 Log fulfills for you, our team receives it with the items and delivery details.
- We prepare and ship them. At our fulfillment center in Miami, we pick, pack and ship each order with one of our carriers, following the times set in your service agreement.
- Tracking goes back to Shopify. The app adds the carrier and tracking number to the order, and Shopify marks the shipped items as fulfilled. You see the tracking on the order page in your Shopify admin.
- Your customer is notified by Shopify, according to your store's notification settings (Settings > Notifications).
You don't need to enter tracking numbers or mark these orders as fulfilled yourself.
Permissions the app asks for
When you install, Shopify lists the access the app needs, in its own words. This is what each permission is for:
- View orders (read only): to read the orders we fulfill for you, with order number, items, variants, SKUs, quantities, shipping method and the recipient's name, company, delivery address, phone and email. The app can't edit, cancel or refund orders.
- View and manage fulfillment orders at your locations: a fulfillment order is Shopify's list of items to ship from one location. We use it to see what's waiting to ship and to record each shipment with its carrier and tracking number.
- View and manage fulfillment orders at a TB3 Log location: used if your store sends orders to a location managed by TB3 Log, to receive those orders and record their shipments.
- Fulfillment service: to set up TB3 Log as a fulfillment service in your store, if your setup uses one. Shopify then adds a location named after TB3 Log.
The app does not request access to your products or customer list. Order permissions also cover payment details; the app uses only whether an order is paid and does not read card or other payment details.
Carriers
We ship with USPS, UPS, FedEx and DHL Express. The carrier and service used for each order follow your service agreement. For these carriers, the order in Shopify shows a link to track the package.
Carriers receive only what they need to deliver: the recipient's name, company, delivery address, phone and email, and the shipment details. They may use the phone and email to send delivery notifications.
Pricing
The app is free to install, and there are no app charges on your Shopify bill. Logistics services are billed by TB3 Log under your service agreement and our Terms of Service.
Your data and privacy
The app handles only what's needed to fulfill your orders: your store's name, .myshopify.com address and contact email; order details (number, items, variants, SKUs, quantities, shipping method and fulfillment status); the recipient's name, company, delivery address, phone and email; shipment details (carrier, tracking number and tracking link); and records of which TB3 Log team member viewed or changed each order in our internal system, and when.
- Why: to receive, prepare and ship your orders, create shipping labels, coordinate deliveries, returns and claims with carriers, send tracking back to Shopify, support you, keep the service secure and auditable, and meet legal obligations.
- Your role: for your customers' personal data, you are the controller and TB3 Log processes it on your behalf, as set out in our Data Processing Addendum.
- Who receives it: the carriers listed above, only what's needed for delivery; our hosting and database providers in the United States; our email and messaging providers; and authorities when the law requires it. Our list of subprocessors is available on request and will be published before the app's public launch.
- What we don't do: sell personal data or "share" it as defined under California law; use merchant or customer data to train AI or machine-learning models; send marketing to your customers; or make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
- Contact with recipients: TB3 Log does not contact your customers. We give the recipient's phone and email to the carrier of each shipment, only so that the carrier can send delivery notifications. If a delivery needs attention, we contact you. These details are never used for marketing. You authorize this sharing with carriers in the App Terms.
- Where it's kept: data is hosted in the United States. Our operations and support team works from Brazil and accesses it remotely, with the safeguards described in our Privacy Policy. Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, these transfers rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses and, for the UK, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, incorporated by reference into our Data Processing Addendum.
- How long: recipient details for up to 24 months after delivery, for returns, carrier claims and disputes; international shipping documents for up to 5 years when U.S. export rules require it. After that, data is deleted or anonymized automatically. Order records from which the recipient's details and tracking numbers have been removed may be kept for as long as we need them for our billing, accounting and legal records.
- Security: encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, including backups; access only for people who need it; one account per person, with a strong password and two-step verification; access logs reviewed every month; no bulk export of names and addresses; test data kept separate from real data; and an incident response plan.
- Incidents: we notify Shopify within 24 hours of an actual or suspected incident affecting merchant or customer data, and affected merchants without undue delay, no later than 72 hours after we confirm it, in addition to any notice the law requires.
- Requests: email support@tb3log.com. We respond within 30 days, or sooner where the law requires, and may ask for information to confirm your identity. We help you answer your customers' requests: when Shopify forwards a customer's data request, we provide the data to you, and we complete deletion requests sent through Shopify within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep the data.
Full details are in our Privacy Policy, App Terms and Data Processing Addendum.
Uninstalling the app
In your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Apps, click the three-dot menu next to TB3 Log, choose Uninstall and confirm.
- Before you uninstall, contact us so we can agree on orders still in progress. Once the app is uninstalled, it no longer receives new orders and can't send tracking numbers to your store.
- If your store has a TB3 Log location with inventory recorded at it, Shopify asks you to delete that inventory or transfer it to another location before uninstalling.
- Orders and tracking numbers already recorded in Shopify stay in your store.
- Your data: Shopify sends us a deletion request 48 hours after you uninstall. We delete your store's data within 30 days of the uninstall, except what the law requires us to keep, such as export documents for international shipments.
- Your service agreement doesn't end when you uninstall the app. Ending services, and any fees due, follow the terms of your agreement.
Frequently asked questions
Is the app on the Shopify App Store? Not yet. For now, we send each client a private install link. We plan to list the app on the Shopify App Store with limited visibility, so it won't appear in App Store search and you'll open it through a direct link from us. If this affects current clients, we'll let you know in advance.
How quickly will my orders ship? Processing and shipping times follow your service agreement. Once a package is with the carrier, delivery time depends on the carrier and the service used.
Which orders go to TB3 Log? The orders your store assigns to TB3 Log for fulfillment, as set up with our team when you start.
Where do I find the tracking number? On the order page in your Shopify admin, with a link to track the package. Your customer gets it in Shopify's shipping notification, when one is sent, and in their order history if your store uses customer accounts.
Will TB3 Log contact my customers? Only about the delivery of their order, such as a failed delivery, an address confirmation or a return. Never for marketing.
Can I change or cancel an order after it reaches TB3 Log? Contact us as soon as possible with the order number. Whether we can still change it depends on how far the order has progressed.
A package is late, damaged or lost. What should I do? Email support@tb3log.com with your store's .myshopify.com address, the order number and what happened. We coordinate deliveries, returns and claims with the carriers.
Can I connect more than one store? Tell us which stores you want to connect. We'll confirm the setup and send the right install link.
How will I hear about changes to the app? By email to your store's contact address and by a notice in the app. For important changes, or if we discontinue the app, we give at least 30 days' notice whenever possible.
